  1. Liverpool wraps up week 25 of the PL 22 points ahead, which, I read today, is the largest gap between 1st and second ever at the end of a week’s matches in English top flight history. Taken 73 of 75 this season. Haven’t lost a league match in more than a year. It’s really ridiculous how remarkable they’ve been.

Yeah but the league is in a down turn.
      .
      Cue chagrined expression.

    • John P. O'Donnell Jr. says:

Just two teams closer to first than being relegated. Only mystery left is can they clinch before they play their thirtieth game with two full months plus a day left in the season?

      • Other mystery is once they clinch will the First team be focused on Cup (if they are still in) and Champions league more then becoming invincible.

      • I think the unbeaten streak is a big motivator. They’ll chase it until they lose it. If they have the league wrapped up and lose to City, say, I think you’ll see a lot of rotation for the benefit of the Champion’s League.

The more pictures I see of this Norwegian kid the more I’m convicted…. he isn’t a back up role player. Regardless of MM Olympic aspirations and commitments.
    .
To be honest I look forward to seeing him play and will sit with quiet hopefulness when presented with space he does something no one other CB on the team can… attack it.

    • John P. O'Donnell Jr. says:

Would it be wise to attack space as a defender last year knowing Harris was your cover? Now they have more speed to stop a counter with him in Cincinnati, so maybe Tanner made this move for that reason. Hopefully they’ll broadcast a few preseason games to get a look at the full squad in action.

      • el Pachyderm says:

Boy I hope so. I’m all for injecting chaos into the carefully crafted set of real numbers.
        .
To your point… maybe having a stout defensive presence in the HDM will affect those types of changes.

    • If you watch the full highlight of Kacper’s goal it looks like Glesnes is the one who drop a beautiful deep pass to Santos to set the whole thing up. Hopefully that’s a sign of things to come.

  3. Any idea when they’ll publish the local broadcast schedule?
