  1. Hmm, people should take a look at that list before even remotely thinking soccer will ever be passed as the world’s most popular sport.

  2. Most of those aren’t actual football teams anymore, just huge global brands. Sad, really.

  3. Jesse Marsch’s squad played a hell of a match. On another day they might have gotten a point. Ther were particularly fearsome in the first half. Liverpool woke up and their quality got the better of Salzburg in the end. They should be proud of the effort. Would have been an immense accomplishment to knock out one of Napoli and Liverpool.
