el Trafico was superb. The first 45 minutes unreal. Not a lick of defense though, which must have been preordained in the tunnel prior to walk out.
    .
Speaking of which. That game starting at 10:30 est was just D.U.M.B
    .
I wish Union had a 19 year old attacking player like Christian Rodriguez. That kid is flat nasty.

    • Was thinking the same about the time as I was watching this morning as I was getting ready for work after I recorded it. Awesome game! Should have nixed the Houston/Dallas for national tv and started El Trafico at 9 being it was a Sunday so you’d get a bigger audience.

  2. I posed this question after last night’s Steel game. Does anyone know if Fontana is having any sort of injury issue? He was not in the 18 for either the Union or Steel this weekend.

(BTW, the Steel highlights from the link above are terrible. They don’t show the third red card at all and don’t show the incident that led to the first two – including the one to Sergio Santos.)

    Same Question about Trusty.
    .
I have no knowledge, only speculation. Tanner has to be finalizing his own mind about what players to bring back at both levels. He commented at the Live Town Hall that there would be plenty of changes.
    .
When I saw the Steel’s starting lineup on defense, my immediate thought is that Tanner wants to see Kingue and Harriel play, that he already knows what he will do about Ofeimu and Topey for 2020. Kingue has started two straight in what may be a three man center back scheme. And he is the one of the group who has seen the least minutes, especially as a defender.
    .
In regards to Fontana, there is no single player 90 minutes match fit to replace Bedoya. A combination of Creavalle and Fontana has to be in the mix as his replacement, but I have no idea how “Curtin” will come down.
    .
I put Curtin in quotes because my bet is both game day roster decisions are collectively made and that the Sporting Director has a great deal of input. “Burke” should be in quotes as well.
    .
Burke has always seemed a bit more adventurous tactically ever since 2016, but his pressure to win, while there and considerable for the portion that is internally generated, is different from the first team’s.
