  1. If you haven’t seen Kompany’s strike for City, go find a clip online. The man uncorked a missle. I was really hoping they’d slip up, and it looked after 70 that they just might, but then came that goal out of nowhere. I suppose there’s technically a chance that Brighton can nick points of City next weekend and that Liverpool may be fit enough to beat an extremely good Wolves side after what’s sure to be a taxing match against Barcelona today, but I’m not counting on it. Fair play to City. They’ve just been otherworldly.

    • Kompany delivering what could be the deciding goal for the title is poetic. just an amazing team this year. i love that decision day matters. fantastic year in the EPL.

Poor Liverpool… poor, poor Liverpool… and I’m not really even a fan of theirs. Gonna hurt when they finish with 97 POINTS & ONE LOSS (assuming they win Sunday)… and still lose the title by a point

  2. i voted for Ilsinho, but they’re all getting crushed but Barco, despite it not being the best of the bunch.

    • OneManWolfpack says:

Stupid popularity contest. The best goal wins maybe half the time. The rest is just the certain teams and their fans voting like crazy for their guy

  3. Tim Jones says:

I would have said the formation shift in the second half might have been to what Bethlehem has played all season, 4-2-2-0-2, but with better awareness of checking back into the 0 space from Monteiro than the Steel usually manage and better mobility forward into that same space from Bedoya and Medunjanin.

Whatever Curtin called it, the tactical flexibility of the basic shape is clear.
