“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”- MLK. The Union have made many strides this year. But for all of the strides made one thing was missing in this loss…Character! There was a lot of posturing, posing, after the 1st goal. But when truly challenged they showed nothing. To a man there was nothing “Philly Tough” about how this team (from goalie to coach) performed when Montreal laid down gauntlet. Now it’s about how they respond to adversity moving forward.
