    Man what I would do.

Why do they schedule the Bayern-Juventus game the same night as the Union are playing on the road. For me it is a no brainer (support my team) but I imagine it is going to take away from both audiences.

    • I have tickets for the Bayern-Juventus match. Sad to say, I am hardly even sorry to miss watching the Union, especially on the road. They will undoubtedly flounder as usual.

    • Watching Bayern vs. Juventus during their preseasons does nothing for me. Maybe if nothing else was on I’d watch. Easy decision to watch the Union.

  3. Savvy move Dallas. Transfer fee- €1.07 mil. They pay transfers too! Meanwhile in Philly, looking for the next free transfer from some 3rd tier somewhere and hope the unearth a diamond.

  4. Great move for Davies. And Vancouver has got to like $13 million in the bank. If clubs, I mean franchises, get to keep the whole transfer fee, it should mean a lot of good DPs on rosters. And even more importantly, good depth players and other supporting squad players. As long as those fund get diverted back into the roster.

    • According to the prosoccer.com article:
      .
Davies is a home-grown player, which means that the club will receive 100 percent of the fee. $750,000 of the fee can be used as General Allocation Money, and the rest must be used against expenses incurred in relation to existing or new Designated Players. Alternatively, with MLS approval, the money can be used in what represents an investment in the academy or training facilities.
      .
16 million in designated players and training facilities will be HUGE if Vancouver spend it right.
