The Union announced a partnership with the Jamaica Tourism Board.

Union fans will have to wait to see who their side plays next in the U.S. Open Cup semi-finals. U.S. Soccer has postponed the draw due to protests from Portland Timbers. More on that in a bit.

Portland Timbers have filed a protest after losing their U.S. Open Cup quarter final against L.A.F.C. The Timbers claim that L.A. rostered too many international players for the tournament.

  1. Does Jamaica have anymore strikers? We might have one of their best “prospects” in Burke. Donaldson is 34. And whatever happened to Deshorn Brown? I remember him looking impressive when he visited the Union with the Rapids in 2014 or 15. Looks like he joined a Spanish club that went under this year.

    Zidane accepting an excellent job of which he will easily be able to walk away from when French Football Federation comes knocking — either because France seems complacent, Didier steps down or the real threat of not getting out of group stage jinx feels more real as Qatar nears.
