Philadelphia Union are entering the home stretch of the MLS season and who better to talk with than play-by-play man JP Dellacamera?

In the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show, KYW’s Greg Orlandini talks with Dellacamera, who has been with the Union since the beginning in 2010.

Dellacamera talks about the team’s fading chances of reaching the playoffs and hopes for a US Open Cup championship after reaching the final for the second year in a row.

Dellacamera also talks about calling the Women’s World Cup this summer, including the historic final that saw South Jersey-native Carli Lloyd power the US to a win over Japan with her first half hat trick.

After that, CBS 3’s Kevin Kinkead joins Greg. They discuss the incident in the Union’s loss to the New England Revolution last weekend that saw midfielder Cristian Maidana get a straight red card for spitting near Revs player Lee Nguyen. Kinkead says the Union could be without one of their best players for up to three games.

    Kinkead showed his hand.
He transitions from talk about mystery, international player the Union tried to sign to immediately talking about M’Bolhi and his relations with the coach of Algeria; namely: Christian Gourcuff.
    Mystery player is Yoann Gourcuff.
