A tough, frustrating, scoreless draw.
That’s not how Philadelphia Union imagined their home opener, but that’s what they got against Colorado Rapids on Saturday.
In the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show, KYW’s Greg Orlandini, PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch, and CBS3’s Kevin Kinkead are joined by Peter Pappas, color commentator for the Union, to discuss what went right, and what went wrong, in the team’s 2015 season opener.
Pappas also talks about working in the booth for the Union.
Then, Greg, Eli, and Kevin dig deeper into Saturday’s draw. Topics include the starting lineup and formation, which featured the team’s two big forwards, Fernando Aristeguieta and CJ Sapong.

I love how Pappas is going on about the importance of not stepping on the other announcer’s toes and never interrupting them while they were making a point…and then that damned radio.com ad literally interrupts him mid sentence.
Hilarious.
there is nothing more jarring and annoying than that Radio.com thing
Does Sak own the Eagles now too? Does Nowak hang with Chip? Same as it ever was in Philly……..gives you that nice, warm, fuzzy feeling that nothing changes. I know its off topic…..but this has been running through my head since our throwball team looks like they are acting like our footy club!
