The John Hackworth era has ended at Philadelphia Union, and the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show breaks it all down for you.
Hackworth was fired on Tuesday, nearly two years to the day after he was promoted from assistant coach to right the ship following Peter Nowak’s awful start to the 2012 campaign.
With Hackworth’s departure, assistant coach and Villanova product Jim Curtin takes the helm on an interim basis.
KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by PSP‘s Adam Cann to discuss what’s ahead for the Union.
With a woeful 3-7-6 record and in eighth place in the Eastern Conference at the start of the World Cup break, Greg, Eli, and Adam discuss what changes Curtin may bring to the team and if there is time to turn the current season around.
