Lopez gets Costa Rica call-up

The Philadelphia Union announced on Tuesday that left back Porfirio Lopez has been called up by the Costa Rican National Team for a friendly against Jamaica.

Lopez leaves today for the friendly, which will take place on Wednesday, March 21,  at 8:00pm at The National Stadium in Kingston.

The left back will return to Philadelphia on Thursday in time to rejoin the team before it departs for Chicago ahead of Saturday’s game against the Fire.

Lopez has one previous cap with the Costa Rican National Team.
