Le Toux, Mwanga top USF 2-0

Just because a recent article on the Union’s website emphasized the need for some of the scoring burden to be lifted off of the shoulders of Sebastien “The Real MVP” Le Toux and Danny “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” Mwanga doesn’t mean they’re in any mood to let up.

They just can’t help it.

After scoring in the 9th minute in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against the USMNT U-17, Le Toux dialed it back a bit and waited until the 19th minute before scoring in today’s exhibition match against the University of South Florida. Justin Mapp, who assisted Le Toux on Sunday, had the assist again today.

Lest there be any doubts as to his awesomeness, the ever generous Le Toux than assisted Danny Mwanga’s goal in the 33rd minute in what a tweet from the Union described as “a beautiful curling strike.”

Last season, Le Toux was in on  something like 72% of the Union’s goals. Two games into the 2011 preseason, he’s at 100%.

I love him.

The PSP will have more information on the match in Friday’s news roundup.

  1. I can’t believe no starting lineups! Toronto did an entire commentary of the match and the Red Bulls had quite the detailed description of their first game in Mexico, but were stuck in the dark.
