Zimmerman loaned to Harrisburg, Noone to debut

Nick Zimmerman has been loaned down to the Harrisburg City Islanders for Saturday’s U.S. Open Cup match against the Charleston Battery the Upper 90 reports. He is expected to play, as is short term signee J.T. Noone, who will make his debut for the Islanders. Noone is a Harrisburg product and Central Dauphin grad and will likely draw a large crowd to the game as Central Dauphin High School is only minutes away from Skyline Sports Complex.

The Islanders have not fared well so far this season and Charleston comes to the island unbeaten in their USL-2 campaign. The Open Cup offers the Islanders a chance to gain some momentum heading toward the mid-point of the season as Charleston looks to maintain its dominant form. Kick-off is Saturday night at 7pm and tickets are still available. If you want to go to the game, you can purchase reserved or grass seating ahead of time through the Islanders website.
