PSP photographer Paul Rudderow was on the sidelines for Saturday afternoon’s match between the Philadelphia Union and the San Jose Earthquakes. The Union walked away with a 1–0 win with the help of a penalty kick goal by Sebastien Le Toux. Faryd Mondragon and the Union defence recorded the shutout.

UPDATED: Philadelphia Union could have had U.S. international midfielder Benny Feilhaber after Chivas USA chose not to take him with their top allocation draft position. Instead, the Union passed, and New England took him.
