PSP’s new weekly feature highlights the Philly player we feel most shined this week at any level (pro, amateur, youth, etc.). This week, Philadelphia Union captain Danny Califf earns the nod after shutting down Sebastien Le Toux, Atiba Harris, and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Union are in the middle of the league in number of shots but close to bottom when it comes to the number and percentage that are on target.
On the plus side, the defense was much improved for the Union. The offense, however, was not.
