If the Philadelphia Union are going to make a mark in the 2011 MLS playoffs they have to win in the west. Here’s a good test run.
A good road team against a good home team. A strong offense against a great defense. A team with a tenuous grip on the playoffs and a team looking for a foothold. Guess what, Union fans: The playoffs start tonight.
It’s not just that the Union can’t lose, it’s that they can’t let KC win. Another tough test for the boys in navy and gold as they travel to Livestrong Park and face a revitalized Sporting side with a shot at first place in the East on the line.
This is the big one. The Union need to pull it all together and get three points against the Crew. And you can help!
