In spite of a roster depleted by NCAA rules and the flu, Bethlehem Steel defeated Syracuse in a preseason scrimmage 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Penn FC won the first half, narrowly but clearly. The Steel equalized in the second, and were rampant in the games final 16 minutes with four while giving up one.
