In pictures: Philadelphia Union 1-0 New York City FC

What an incredible night at Subaru Park! The Philadelphia Union sealed a historic moment, claiming the 2025 Supporters’ Shield with a hard-fought 1–0 win over New York City FC on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Thanks to Mikael Uhre’s first-half strike. The energy in the stadium was unreal — fans on their feet, the team giving everything, and the moon shining brightly above it all. Moments like these remind me why I love documenting the game. Here are some of my favorite shots from the night — including one of that glowing moon watching over the champions.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures!! Very class of the boys to bring Trent’s kit to the party!! As I watch the Phillies stumble after so much expectation these pictures are a reminder that the Union were not expected to even make the playoffs!
    Sports are funny that way!!
