The Philadelphia Union played Orlando City SC to a nil-nil draw at Subaru Park on Saturday evening. The Union entered the match having dismantled Orlando City in the season opener 4-2 and looking to kick off a month with three home games with three points. Orlando City had other plans, spoiling record-signing striker Bruno Damiani’s first start and the longest run of play in youngest-ever MLS debutant Cavan Sullivan’s first-team career seemingly playing for a draw from the start.

  1. This was the worst case of prejudicial refereeing I’ve seen in any game, and there have been a few that were bad. It’s surprising that there is no system available for a team to file a grievance, or if there is, it should be done in this case.
