In a dramatic turn of events at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania on a rainy Wednesday night, the Philadelphia Union suffered a disheartening 1-2 loss against New York FC, marking the Union’s fourth consecutive home defeat. The match took an unexpected intermission during the first half when a mischievous raccoon boldly ventured onto the field. Despite a valiant effort by the grounds crew, the elusive critter managed to evade capture for several tense minutes before finally being trapped with the aid of a garbage can and safely removed off the premises. Here are a few photos from the match.
