Loudoun had three former Union or Union II players on its roster: Cole Turner, Kalil ElMedkhar, and Drew Skundrich.

Hartford is coached by former Bethlehem Steel FC head coach Brendan Burke who is also their general manager.  Their roster includes Michee Ngalina, Marcus Epps, and Brooks Thompson all of whom have played for Union II/Bethlehem Steel or the Union itself. Hartford’s tweets credit Thompson with laying out to save a breakaway in the 66th minute. We have no indications who dressed for Union II but did not play in either match.

Union II opens the season at Subaru Park at 3 p.m Sunday March 17 against Toronto FC II.
