Philadelphia Union
In the final match of the regular season, the Union fell 2-1 to NYCFC.

Shortly after the Union match, the Bethlehem Steel also lost, falling 2-1 to the Charlotte Independence.
MLS
All the action from Decision Day is here.
Here’s how the MLS Playoff bracket looks.
After a hat trick Sunday, Carlos Vela is the Golden Boot winner. He also set a new MLS goal record.
Christian Ramirez was traded to Houston from Minnesota. He’s still helping Minnesota.
The Portland Timbers won off and on the field Sunday.
World
Manchester United is not having a great year.
Christian Pulisic got to see the field this weekend. He even picked up an assist.
There’s one team still undefeated in the Bundesliga, and its not Bayern Munich.
In Jill Ellis’ final game, the USWNT drew South Korea 1-1.
FIFA and the World Health Organization are teaming up for “healthy stadiums”.
Man Tommy is so brutal. I don’t always think about it but he was especially bad yesterday and made me think about the whole year. JP is so good, and if we just had a real honest to god soccer person to analyze the game and point out things we don’t notice, I think it would make a huge difference
I nominate Adam Cann.
He would be an awesome choice. I don’t know how big of a name they want but Adam would add a ton.
An Literal Old Onion Bag would call games better than Tommy.
So you think we should get a better color man like Kyle Martino or Taylor Twellman or Alejandro Moreno or Bob Rigby? OK, scratch Rigby but all of the top commentators have been snagged away from the Union.
Disappointments.

Finishing the season like a true Union team.

That we stayed top of the table for so long.

Fears
.
Stadium will not be sold out even though the Eagles play Sunday night.
Miami, Atlanta, Chicago in 2020 after new CBA.

Hopes.

We beat the pants off the Pink Cows
Sugarman sells at the end of the year.
Stadium will probably sell out but with too many Cow fans.
.
I’m withholding judgment about Wooten until next year when he has trained with the team. After all, Kacper didn’t play at all last year after he was signed.
Kacper didn’t come with much expectation much like Kai Wagner. Wooten was on a roll before he arrived and it seemed ever since he scored that first goal that was over turned he’s been invisible. Granted I think he comes back next year but I wouldn’t be surprised if they cut ties with Fabian.
Was mentioned above that there will likely be a lot of Pink Cow fans. I’m fine with that if the Union win. They are so awful that they make the Union fans angrier and louder. We had the worst RB fans behind us in June, chanting Let’s Go Giants and all that. The loudest I’ve ever heard any section I’ve been in at any stadium was the 2nd goal to tie the game. We all screamed our heads off at those obnoxious oxygen thieves.
