He’s the hero of the Philadelphia Union‘s latest win and he is the guest in the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show.
Midfielder Zach Pfeffer talks with KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch about his stoppage time winner in the Union’s 1-0 win over DC United on Sunday at PPL Park. Pfeffer also talks about the disappointment of being left off the U.S. National Team U-20 squad for the upcoming U-20 World Cup.
Greg and Eli are then joined by Eric Giacometti of mlsssoccer.com, where he covers the New York Red Bulls, the Union’s next opponent. The Red Bulls, who are coming off of a 0-0 draw against FC Dallas last Friday, had some high profile departures after the 2014 season in Tim Cahill and Thierry Henry but Giacometti says the team has bounced back to be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference.

His maturity is pretty admirable. Wouldn’t bother me one bit if he stuck around for a long time.
