The Philadelphia Union hits the pitch for real this Saturday, and the KYW Philly Soccer Show is here to get you ready.
KYW Newsradio’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch talk all things Union as the team heads to Portland, Ore., to start the 2014 MLS campaign against the Timbers on Saturday night (10:30 pm, CSN, MLS Live).
The team is heading west carrying some injuries, including to defender Sheanon Williams and forward Conor Casey.
Greg and Eli also chat a bit about the new Union home jersey, unveiled earlier this week at an event at Dave & Buster’s.
Philadelphiaunion.com writer Kevin Kinkead then stops by to give his insight on the season opener.
