With the MLS regular season coming to a close only two of our local lads have made it to the MLS Cup Playoffs: Holland, PA’s Greg Cochrane with the LA Galaxy and Lancaster’s Andrew Wenger with the Montreal Impact. Together the locals featured in 192 MLS games, making 125 starts overall.

In Finland, former PDA player Jonathan Okafor saw his season come to an end with MYPA of the Finnish Veikkausliiga (Premier Division). Okafor played 30 games, making 15 starts, and scoring 2 goals and 1 assist with the side.

Also coming to a close this week was Philadelphia and former Junior Lone Star FC forward Anthony Allison’s season with Umeå FC of the Swedish Division 1 North. Allison played in a total of 19 games, making 13 starts and scoring 3 goals and one assist.

With just one week left in his season, Mechanicsburg, PA’s Bobby Warshaw continues to strike gold on loan with Ängelholms FF in the Swedish Superettan. Starting in his seventh league match on Saturday, Warshaw scored his sixth goal of the season in a 3-2 win over Hammarby IF, home of fellow local, Allentown, NJ native Billy Schuler.
