This week the KYW Philly Soccer Show takes a look at the Philadelphia Union from a slightly different perspective.

KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by SportsRadio 94WIP‘s Spike Eskin, who gives his insight on how Union is fitting into the Philadelphia sports scene and what the team, and MLS, could do to help increase its profile.

The discussion then turns to Friday’s huge nationally televised game in Kansas City. Without a win in five games and with only one goal to show during that span, the Union faces a very tough challenge in second place in the Eastern Conference Sporting KC.

A once-assured playoff spot now looks very far away as Philadelphia slips to seventh place. Each game is now a must-win as the Union hope to return to the post season.
