Did anyone else notice that the sideline signboards were insanely bright? You can see in a couple of the photos. My wife and several around us were complaining that they couldn’t see the players when they were on that side. Someone must have complained because they turned down the brightness in the second half. Weird. Anyway, great photos as always.
My friend and I at the top of Section 103 certainly noticed. It was so bad i had a headache by half-time. The whole evening was strange, atmosphere-wise (pre-match out on the Plaza, post-match, etc.) and the lighted signage just added to the strangeness. We couldn’t leave the Park soon enough that night and we usually stay until we’re kicked out…
Yes, sat in section 102 it was the Verizon Ad with the bright white back ground to brightthey could have left that Ad on and turned off the stadium light off and played it was so bright.
Took my In-laws this night to their first Pro-soccer game. They loved it my Father-law said he just wish that the Union could have scored so he could hear the DOOP. Mother-Inlaw wanted to sit with the SONS OF BEN she said they looked like they were having the most fun. By the way Mike these are some great shots.
