The Philadelphia Union goes from one physical test to another as they get set to take on archrival DC United this Sunday at RFK Stadium.
This week on the KYW Philly Soccer Show, hosts KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP writers Eli Pearlman-Storch and Adam Cann are joined by DC United’s Perry Kitchen. The defensive midfielder talks about DC’s woeful start (they’ve only scored two goals through the team’s first six games) and the often physical rivalry with the Union.
Kitchen also talks about the battles he has had with the Union’s Michael Farfan.
Then Greg, Eli, and Adam dissect the Union’s 1-1 draw against Toronto FC. The Canadian team applied some questionable physical tactics during the game, made all the worse by a woeful refereeing job.
