One of the Philadelphia Union’s young guns was in studio this week for the latest edition the KYW Philly Soccer Show.
KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Union forward Antoine Hoppenot.
In part one, the Paris-born, Pennsylvania and New Jersey-raised rookie from Princeton talks candidly about the team’s recent struggles. He also discusses both the competition and the camaraderie among the team’s many young players.

In part two, with the Union using the off week to try to right the ship before their next game against the downtrodden Toronto FC on Sept. 15, Greg and Eli take a look at coach John Hackworth, who had the “interim” tag dropped from his title, and the team’s roster, including early thoughts on which players will be the team next year and which will not.
Finally, Greg and Eli look at the USMNT roster and discuss who will see the field against the Reggae Boyz ahead of the upcoming home-and-home World Cup qualifying series against Jamaica.
