The Union announced on Wednesday that Peter Nowak has been named Executive Vice President of Soccer Operations/Team Manager.

“Peter’s new title better reflects his broader responsibilities overseeing our entire soccer operation,” said CEO & Operating Partner Nick Sakiewicz. “From day one, Peter has proven to be a talented strategist and his passion and knowledge of the sport suit him perfectly for this role.”

The press release announcing the new title said, “As Philadelphia Union expand their technical programs and soccer operations throughout the Philadelphia region, Nowak will continue to oversee all personnel and activities involving the first team and youth academy.”
