Kerith Gabriel has covered the Union since the franchise arrived in Philadelphia. He joins KYW’s Greg Orlandini and the Philly Soccer Page’s Adam Cann to discuss the offseason moves, tactics past and future, and the outlook for the 2011 campaign.
Kerith gives his take on Peter Nowak’s handling of the media and explains how guys like Kyle Nakazawa and Sebastien Le Toux could be used this year. Everyone scratches their heads at the MacMath pick but agrees that the Union could have an American great on their hands if the young goalie’s development continues.
And finally, did Kerith give us some predictions for this season? You’ll have to listen to find out!

listen to part of the cast. What is the Comcast deal??? Not heard anything about that.
It’s the local broadcast deal for Union games. https://phillysoccerpage.net/2011/03/05/full-union-broadcast-schedule-all-over-the-dial/
I love PSP but i must say, at this point seeing a photo with M.O.F. in it like the one associated with this article is like pouring salt in to an open wound… just saying 🙁
Sorry Joe. I picked MOF as a tribute. But now that you mention it… yeah, it makes me sad too.
Great stuff – very happy to see the return of the Philly Soccer Show! It was good to hear Kerith’s take on the Union. I don’t see nearly as much soccer coverage in the Daily News or the Inquirer as I would like but that doesn’t mean Kerith isn’t working his ass off. I look forward to you having him back.
Yay … opened iTunes and there were all 4 freshly-downloaded podcasts waiting patiently for me.
