Philadelphia Union lost 1-0 Friday night to the Tampa Bay Rowdies in their final pre-season friendly in Tampa.

The Rowdies’ Aaron Wheeler put in a header in the 4th minute, and the NASL side held the Union scoreless to hold onto the win. The closest the Union came to the net was when J.T. Noone bounced a shot off the crossbar in the 67th minute.

Provided there’s no strike, the Union will play their first regular season match Thursday night against the Seattle Sounders.
