Philadelphia Union dominated the University of North Carolina in a 5-0 win Saturday in the team’s first formal exhibition match.
Sebastien Le Toux rang up a hat trick in the first half to lead the Union, while Shea Salinas and Jack McInerney netted in the second half to round out the scoring. Goalkeepers Chris Seitz and Brad Knighton each played a half in goal to record the clean sheet.
The match took place in Greensboro, N.C., out of reach for many Union fans, but word has it some made the trip. If you’re one of them, give a shout and share what you saw. Observations, impressions, whatever — spill the beans. Let’s hear it.
