Next week, you’ll see some changes on this site. We’ll be moving over to WordPress, which will allow us to do a few things differently. We used Posterous.com to start with because it’s very user-friendly and is good for simply getting straight content onto the web. Now that we see our readership growing, as well as recognizing the amount of content we’re putting up, it’s time for a move. WordPress will allow us to have more pages and links on the site, so you’ll see features like a page with information on local pickup games and adult soccer leagues, as well as links to more local news sites. We’ll be moving all our past posts over, but unfortunately, the comments won’t go with them.
As for you, you likely won’t have to do anything different. Just type in the same URL — http://www.phillysoccerpage.com — and it will take you right to the new site.
