Kennedy Igboananike scored the game’s only goal as the Fire knocked off the 10-man Union, 1-0.

Philadelphia Union opened their 2016 home season with an emphatic 3-0 win over a 10-man New England side despite missing two penalty kicks. CJ Sapong had a brace and Sebastien Le Toux finished off the scoring.

Blake will not miss any Union games while away on international duty, March 21-30.
