Just when Panama looked set to end Mexico’s World Cup dream, Graham Zusi, Aron Johansson and the rest of the USMNT completed a shocking comeback.
While their closest opponents both scored precious road victories, the Union failed to bring the required intensity and attacking numbers in DC and were only able to salvage a draw.
Jack McInerny ended his goal drought to rescue a point for the Union with a 90th minute header.
Kleberson bailed the Union out in a match in which the forwards were far from clinical in front of goal.
Scoreless and down to ten men for the final 13 minutes of the game, the Union needed a difference maker. In the 95th minute, Kleberson became that man.

San Jose crushed the Union on the flanks for the first half hour and then hung on for the win.
San Jose were the better team, but Rafael Baca’s red card gave the Union the chance they needed to steal a road point. In the end they were unable to beat Jon Busch, falling 1-0.
Montreal came to PPL Park seeking only a draw. The Union wanted a win. Unfortunately, the Union lacked the creativity and finishing to take the victory that they deserved.
