Philadelphia Union took on Indy Eleven in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32. It was a fast-paced, physical match that featured some new faces in the starting lineup, including Cavan Sullivan’s first start. The Union created plenty of chances and battled until the end, ultimately winning on penalties (5-4) thanks to a huge save from Andrew Rick. Photographer Ryan McElroy was on hand to capture the action.
