Welcome to The Philly Soccer Page Lower League Recap!

Beginning next Wednesday, we’ll be covering all the lower-league action from the Philadelphia area.

For our purposes, “lower league” will be defined as any tier on the U.S. soccer pyramid other than the highest tier, tier 1, which is MLS.  (Union 2, which plays in MLS NEXT Pro, will also continue to receive separate coverage.)

The Philadelphia area has multiple clubs competing in leagues in lower tiers of the US soccer pyramid. Our goal here is to compile results and highlights from some of these teams for you in one centralized spot – The Philly Soccer Page Lower League Recap.

The (un)official Philadelphia area soccer map:

Leagues you can look forward to seeing some coverage of include:

•    Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL)
•    United Premier Soccer League (UPSL)
•    National Premier Soccer League (NPSL)
•    United Soccer League, League 2 (USL2)
•    NISA Nation

A lot of these clubs have women’s division teams, youth teams and reserve teams. While our weekly coverage will be limited to the men’s senior teams of each club, we encourage you to check out schedules, scores, stats and standings for other teams on each club and league’s respective websites.

We hope you enjoy the coverage and hope you check back each Wednesday.
