All Three Points

All Three Points podcast: I’m sorry Ms. Jackson

The Union are for real. The realest. But can they keep hanging with the big guns? The run-in is as brutal as they come.

Here are the points:

  1. Union 3–1 Atlanta: In arguably their biggest-ever match, the Union not only took Atlanta’s best shot, they hit back and took all the candy.
  2. But what does it all mean: With that resounding, statement win, the Union retook first place and showed they had truly earned it. But while the Union stood idle, NYCFC continued to win, and took first away again. So where do the Union stand in the larger league picture?
  3. The remaining schedule: The Union have a monstrous final five games coming up, starting with welcoming the historically great LAFC. But you want to know the funny part? The Union are good enough that there’s no obvious call for that game. The Union could definitely win. Fine times to be a Union fan.
