In the latest episode of the Philly Soccer Show, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch take an in-depth look at youth soccer development with guests Jeff Parke and Jeremiah White of NXT Soccer.
Parke and White are both local products with storied professional careers — Parke in MLS, including a season with the Union, and White playing in leagues throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Parke and White, who are childhood friends, talk about what they’re trying to do to help develop soccer at the youth level in the Philadelphia area. They discuss increasing skill on the field, bas well as proper fitness and nutrition off the field.
White, who has a background in software development, also talks about how new technology is a growing tool in improving the development of players.
