Bethlehem Steel has released its preseason match schedule.
Five games will be played before the Steelmen’s regular season opener on March 25 on the road against FC Montreal, two of which will take place at the Philadelphia Union training center next to Talen Energy Stadium.
Saturday, March 6: vs. Syracuse at Union Training Center (12 pm)
Friday, March 11: at New York Red Bulls II
Tuesday, March 15: vs. Harrisburg City Islanders at Lehigh University’s Goodman Stadium (12 pm; closed to the public)
Saturday, March 19: at Penn State
Sunday, March 20: vs. Georgetown at Union Training Center (11:30 am)
Preseason games at the Union training center are free and open to the public. Parking will be free for the first game at the training center on Saturday, March 6, which is the same day the Union open the 2016 season on the road against Dallas. However, the second game at the training center will take place on Sunday, March 20 at 11:30 am, the same day as the Union’s home opener against New England Revolution, which kicks off at 2:30 pm. Thus, parking fees will be collected for the Union game.
Bethlehem’s home opener against FC Cincinnati is on Sunday, April 3 at 3 pm.
