The latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show is once again on location from PPL Park.
On Tuesday night, Philadelphia Union picked up a tough, come-from-behind win, 2-1, against DC United in the US Open Cup.
KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with midfielder Zach Pfeffer, who came in late in the game and helped the Union hold down the lead, about the win.
Greg and Eli also discuss the US 2-0 win over Germany in the semifinals of the Women’s World Cup.
That victory was powered by Delran, NJ native Carli Lloyd, who scored a penalty kick and assisted on the second goal.
