SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame announces 68th annual banquet

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame (formerly the Philadelphia Oldtimers Soccer Association, founded in 1947) is pleased to announced its 2015 class of Hall of Fame inductees and award winners.

All of the recipients will be honored at the annual banquet on May 9 at Cannstatter Volksfest Verein in Northeast Philadelphia. This banquet is a great opportunity for the soccer community to gather, honor past accomplishments, and engage in productive soccer talk and networking.

Coming from a number of varied soccer backgrounds, the 2015 Hall of Fame class includes:

  • Jay Bitterlich
  • Darci Borski
  • Dave Cardie
  • Bruce Falkenstein
  • Pete Hulayew
  • Pat Morris
  • Emily Olesiuk Shaw
  • Steve Paul
  • Skip Roderick
  • Robert Robinson
  • Nick Sakiewicz

The 2015 award winners include:

  • Tom Paton Award (Female Player of the Year): Jazmin Gonzalez, Archbishop Ryan High School
  • Bill Peterman Award (Male Player of the Year): Tyler Colasanto, La Salle High School
  • Charlotte Moran Award (Coach of the Year – Female Team): Jonathan Geist, Parkwood Youth Organization/Archbishop Ryan High School
  • John (Jukey) Nanoski Award (Coach of the Year – Male Team):  Joe Krantz, Archbishop Wood High School
  • Ned Potts Award (Club of the Year): Parkwood Youth Organization
  • Harry Rogers Award (Referee of the Year): Mike Laychock
  • Chick Fallon Award (Service to Soccer): Announced at banquet
Special celebrations this year

In addition to our inductions and awards, we will be honoring the Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association (EPSA), which is celebrating its 102 year anniversary, as well as the 80-year long North Catholic-Frankford High School soccer rivalry. All former players and coaches are invited.
