Sidestepping two defenders, Turay then delivered a swerving the ball into the top right corner of the net to put the Stars ahead 1-0 before half-time.

Second half

Ten minutes later, the Eagles equalized from a corner kick. Adeleye came off his line to clear the ball in the air but the ball landed at the feet of Bardic, who volleyed into the back of the empty net to tie the score 1-1 for the Eagles in the 55th minute.

Eight minutes later after conceding the equalizer, the Stars were back in front when a cross from Amadou Sheriff on the right went through the hands of Tartara for Jerome Pour to have a simple tap-in for his second goal of the season.

The Eagles tried desperately to equalize for the second time, but the Stars held on for a memorable 2-1 win.
