The Philadelphia Union are strengthening themselves on the sidelines as well as on the field this preseason.
To help manager John Hackworth build a winning squad, former US National Team player Mike Sorber has joined the coaching staff to fill the vacancy left by the departure of Brendan Burke. And Coach Sorber joins KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch on this week’s edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show.
Sorber brings a wealth of experience, having played in the 1994 World Cup for the US and as an assist coach with the US National Team and the Montreal Impact.
He discusses his philosophy as a coach and what he expects for the upcoming Philadelphia Union season.
