The KYW Philly Soccer Show takes another look ahead again to the 2014 MLS season, last week’s pod with Union assistant coach Brendan Burke if you haven’t already listened to it).
KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with Hackworth about the offseason, as the team works to bolster its roster.
Hackworth says the team is looking to change its formation next year, playing a 4-3-3, and wants to add players who can play that system.
He also talks about some of the players who will be returning to the Union next year and what roles they will play.
Then, Greg and Eli do a quick breakdown of the MLS playoffs so far, and talk about the fact that the Seattle Sounders are retaining coach Sigi Schmid — even after another disappointing playoff exit.
