The play-by-play voice of the Philadelphia Union is the guest on this week’s edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show. JP Dellacamera talks with KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch.
Dellacamera, a Union original, talks about the team’s ongoing midfield issues, the relative depth of the bench, and possible reasons why Roger Torres has seen his playing time dwindle.
Then, Greg and Eli talk about what has been another busy couple of weeks for the Union, with two trips to Canada and a US Open Cup match against the Ocean City Nor’easters sandwiched in the middle.
The Union put in one of their worst performances in recent memory with the 5-3 loss to the Montreal Impact. They bounced back with a 2-1 cup win against Ocean City at PPL Park, a game that was much too nervy for the team’s liking.
Philadelphia now heads to the woeful Toronto FC as they look to bounce back in the league.
