Another week in which the Philadelphia Union trades a popular player. KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writers Mike Servedio and Eli Pearlman-Storch try to make sense of the news in the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show.
In part one, the pod discusses where the Califf trade leaves the team, both in the leadership department and in the defense. They also take a look at who the team may get in return.
Also in part one, the guys talk about the loss to New York. The Union played one of their best games of the year in the 3-2 defeat, a game that saw the team go down to 10 men with the first-half ejection of Freddy Adu.
