Your co-hosts, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSPs Eli Pearlman-Storch, are joined by PSP writer Adam Cann in the latest installment of the Philly Soccer Show podcast.
In part one, the Greg and Adam talk to Eli about how the Union looked in their preseason friendly with Orlando City. The Union gave up a stoppage time goal to finish with a 1–1 draw and Eli, who was in Orlando to see the game, gives his thoughts on the performance of the returning—and newest—members of the Union.
In part two, the discussion turns to where the Union will finish in 2012 in the Eastern Conference. After leading the conference for much of the season, the Union finished third in 2011, securing a playoff berth, and they will look to build on that success. The conference projects to be stronger this year, with teams like DC United and the New York Red Bulls looking to improve.
