This week’s Philly Soccer Show podcast with KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch features Philadelphia Union defender Sheanon Williams.

In Part One, Williams talks about the Union’s winless streak, which has stretched into eight games after a scoreless draw with the Portland Timbers. He also discusses something close to his heart: the “Miles for MJ” charity, which raises money and awareness about neurofibromatosis type 1, a terrible condition that affects the nervous system.

In Part Two, Greg and Eli look ahead to the Union’s home clash with the Columbus Crew, who the Union team they lost to, 2-1, on the road back in August. The hosts lament the fact that midfielder Keon Daniel might not return to the team this season after being unable to return to the USA from Trinadad and Tobago because of what is reportedly a visa issue. Also discussed is the new young defensive signing, English-born center back Joe Tait.
